Java remains the core language on many Hong Kong government T-contract bids for Analyst Programmer and System Analyst. You will also see Java plus production support, banking channels, or AI/.NET as a second stream.
The bid will list technical skills as essential or preferred, with months. Essential Java, SQL, or a named framework is a gate. Preferred skills (another language, cloud, or a tool) help if two CVs both meet the mandate.
What we look for: recent Java delivery, not only training; the ability to read a specification; and months that match the grade (AP versus SA). If the bid says production support, show incident or release work, not only greenfield builds.
Browse T openings or the T Bid Dashboard. Search example: Java AND (Analyst Programmer OR System Analyst). Then submit your CV.
