Job nature:
(T26) This CP position is responsible for maintaining and supporting the DPO departmental homepage (www.digitalpolicy.gov.hk).

Responsibilities:
(T26) The staff is required to:
1. perform daily content updates and provide support for the DPO departmental homepage
2. responsible for program coding & conducting tests, assisting System Analyst on web application development and system support
3. perform daily helpdesk support for the DPO departmental homepage; and
4. provide support on periodical review of the content of the departmental homepage to ensure conformance to W3C standards, HTML 5 standards and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.2 Level AA.

Requirements:
The candidate should have:
(a) solid experience in developing innovative and creative websites
(b) solid technical knowledge of web standards, accessibility of websites and browser compatibility
(c) sound knowledge of Internet development, web design and graphic design
(d) support experience in web-based applications and helpdesk
(e) working experience on the TeamSite Web Content Management System (WCMS) is preferred; and
(f) good communication & interpersonal skills.
