Job nature:
(T26) The post is responsible for providing system support for the enhancement and maintenance of the Departmental Portal, which serves as an integrated platform for commonly accessed in-house and web-based cross-domain departmental business applications/systems. These latter include a number of Government-to-Government, Government-to-Employee applications/systems.

Responsibilities:
(T26) The post holder is required to:
(1) Play a key role in providing technical support and system administration for the various system software for the Departmental Portal, which consists of a number of servers running on Windows Server under the development, testing and production environments
(2) Carry out maintenance activities of the Departmental Portal; and
(3) Conduct system programming, configuration, testing and ensure that the output follows government standards and guidelines for the Departmental Portal.

Requirements:
- The candidate should have a strong relevant technical background and practical system support experience on Web (Internet and Intranet) based systems/applications. The candidate must also possess experience in the Departmental Portal Programme by using the Departmental Portal Hosting Services (DPHS) and Liferay Portal (Note: For this service request, the "Departmental Portal Programme" and essential technical requirements skill code "DPS - Departmental Portal" includes experience in supporting the government's Departmental Portal or portal(s) implemented using open source solution for private companies/organizations). - Experience in Government work and implementation of security risk assessment and audit exercises is preferred.
