1. Oversee the architectural design and strategic development of responsive mobile applications and frontend interfaces for the BIM-AM portal.
2. Define user layout standards, UI/UX guidelines, and automated frontend testing frameworks to ensure high-quality and consistent user experiences.
3. Supervise the integration of mobile/frontend solutions with enterprise systems (AIMP, CDE, GIS) to provide a unified asset management experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the design, architecture, and development of responsive mobile applications and frontend interfaces.
2. Formulate and govern automated frontend testing strategies, including component-based testing (e.g., Selenium).
3. Define complex business logic, user layout standards, and responsive design guidelines for end-user applications.
4. Lead UI/UX strategy to ensure intuitive, accessible, and high-performance mobile-first interfaces.
5. Monitor and evaluate frontend performance metrics and mobile compatibility across diverse devices.
6. Manage the quality assurance pipeline for frontend deployment to ensure robust automated test coverage.
7. Supervise the enhancement and integration of BIM-AM Portal, asset information management platform and CDE with other internal and external systems.
8. Assist in the feasibility study, user requirement elicitation, system analysis and design, integration of data retrieved from Common Data Environment (CDE), Building Management System (BMS), Building Information Modelling (BIM) and associated IoT sensors.
9. Take part in the software development life cycle with both the internal development team and external contractors.
10. To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors.

Requirements:
1. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline, awarded by a university in Hong Kong; or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, equivalent or above.
2. At least four years' post-qualification information technology experience, of which two years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
3. Proven expertise in architecting and leading the development of full-stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS.
4. Deep understanding of architectural design for relational and non-relational database systems, specifically PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
5. Strong API design and programming experience for complex systems integration and backend services.
6. Extensive experience in UI/UX strategy and governing responsive design standards to ensure high-performance mobile-first interfaces.
7. Experience in the full system development lifecycle from project initiation, user requirement collection, to architectural system development.
8. Possess experience in Web Application design, Software development and application maintenance processes, including Incident management.
9. Working knowledge of modern web application frameworks and automated testing strategies is preferred.
10. Extensive IT experience in implementing Geographic Information System (GIS), Common Data Environment (CDE) and/or Document Management System (DMS) is preferred.
11. Familiarity with common BIM Standards, BIM authoring tools, and interaction between BIM, Asset Management, and ERP systems is a significant advantage.
12. Project experience in BIM, GIS, CSDI, and other electronic drawing submission systems is preferred.
13. Knowledge of Linux, shell scripts, and server setup is preferred.
14. Good team player and leader, proactive communication with teammates and subordinates.
