Job nature:
(T26) The post mainly participates in supporting various outsourced systems, such as a library system, a manpower estimation system, registry filing system, a contractor/consultant monitoring system and a training record system, and managing projects of Development Bureau (Works Branch).

Responsibilities:
(T26) - To manage a redevelopment project of a contractor/consultant monitoring system; - To conduct implementation, testing, deployment activities, and to provide system maintenance support for a library system, a manpower estimation system, registry filing system, a contractor/consultant monitoring system and a training record system; - To take part in all phases of computer projects including feasibility study, procurement of services, systems analysis and design, procurement and installation of computer systems, programming implementation, system nursing and maintenance; - To provide technical advices on technical issues, assess the impacts, and propose remedial actions to ensure minimal impact to users and application systems; - To involve in user requirement collection, and bridge the communications among end users, development team contractors and relevant DPO support teams; - To assist users in preparing test plans and conducting user acceptance test; - To perform quality assurance on contractors&;#8217; deliverables; - To manage and coordinate contractor activities and monitor their performance; - To perform any other system maintenance and support tasks as assigned; - To carry out project management duties as designated by the project manager; - To perform any other IT related tasks as assigned; and - To perform over-time work outside office hours or on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays occasionally.

Requirements:
- Solid experience in project management, contract administration and user liaison; - Well-versed in elicitation of user requirements, system analysis and design, systems development and maintenance; and - Solid hands-on experience in MS ASP.NET, MS SQL and .Net C#.
