(T26) System Implementation and Maintenance Support

Responsibilities:
(T26) The post is created for management and monitoring of the System Analysis & Design (&;#8220;SA&D&;#8221;), implementation, system integration, maintenance and support of a new information system including: - assist his/her supervisor in supporting Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Project Assurance Team (PAT) on overseeing the delivery of a new information system; - oversee the project progress & spending position; - manage and supervise the internal project team; - provide overall contractor management and coordination; - prepare the work assignment briefs for the procurement of related hardware, software and services, etc; - assist users to identify the user requirements for system development and the use of spatial data; - coordinate the setup and maintenance of the information system in Government Cloud and assist the contractors to perform necessary tests to ensure a high level of system reliability and availability; - provide assistance on user acceptance test, data conversion and verification activities; - provide technical advice, resolve any possible conflict and follow up all technical problems; - review system deliverables and documentation; and - assist users in governing the systems' conformance to Government policies and standards; - perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
The candidate should have solid experience in conducting SA&D, system implementation and integration, maintenance and support, project management, IT operational management, IT Security and IT planning, outsourcing management and other related technical skills. The candidate should also have work experience in implementing large scale system, high availability and disaster recovery requirements. Knowledge in Government IT standards & procurement procedures, having professional IT qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) and experience in using Geographic Information System and Government cloud services are preferred.
