Job nature:

1. To provide technical and operational support for the existing BTSD systems, covering application support, infrastructure and network support, system administration, security-related support, and relevant IT operational procedures including procurement and maintenance administration.
2. To support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancement, and service delivery of other production systems related to TDVEC management systems.
3. To assist the BTSD IT project team in procurement, contractor management and coordination, including monitoring contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, supporting follow-up actions, and providing advice on service quality and compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities:
(T26)
(a) To perform application development, coding, documentation, testing, maintenance and enhancement for Intranet/Internet, client/server systems, and web application systems
(b) To perform programming, performance tuning, system administration and maintenance
(c) To administrate, monitor and provide services for application software systems
(d) To provide application and system support services such as liaison with users and vendors, monitoring
(e) To evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services
(f) To ensure project deliverables submitted by the contractor to be on time and meet quality standard
(g) To carry out procurement, feasibility study, user requirement definition, implementation, documentation, testing, and maintenance of application systems
(i) To perform other IT services or tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
(a) Have a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or related IT disciplines, or equivalent
(b) At least 1 years or above relevant IT working experience in system development, testing, configuration, customization, and administration of application software systems
(c) Knowledge and solid experience on user liaison and vendor management
(d) Experience and skills in VBA, SQL, MSSQL, XML, and webservice are mandatory
(e) Experience in PowerShell scripting, automation, Linux environment support, infrastructure support, or IT security support would also be an advantage
(f) Experience in Government environment, Government procurement/disposal procedures, tender administration would be an advantage
(g) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible and well-organized; and
(h) Good planning, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
