Job description
Being a team member in an in-house support team to:
- provide technical support to the programme information system and other application systems;
- provide assistance to perform various regular activities of the programme information system;
- work with contractors for delivering application fixes;
- perform testing on contractor's deliverables;
- assist users to conduct acceptance test;
- assist to maintain the system documents;
- provide technical support to end users;
- prepare reports by using reporting tools or spreadsheet;
- assist to conduct procurement of hardware, software and maintenance services;
- assist to prepare procurement specifications;
- assist to evaluate technical proposals;
- conduct other system support activities as requested;
- conduct any other IT related tasks as assigned; and
- require to perform over-time work outside office hours or on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays occasionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in IT-related subject or equivalent
- Solid experience in writing SQL statements and using Oracle RDBMS
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience in using JBoss and developing J2EE applications are preferred
- Oracle Certified Java Programmer (OCJP), Oracle DBA certifications or equivalent are preferred
