Job Description:
(T26) The requested staff will be assigned to the project team to provide technical support for the system infrastructure of iAM Smart Checking System and the relocation to new Headquarters (HQs) of Immigration Department (ImmD).
He/she is required to work as Analyst/Programmer to provide support for Systems Analyst / Assistant Systems Manager / Systems Manager to conduct the following activities:
(a) Provide system installation, configuration, testing, acceptance and maintenance;
(b) Assist in reviewing and maintain inventory records for both hardware, software and miscellaneous items;
(c) Assist in monitoring and examination of contractor's work to deliver solutions as per schedule;
(d) Provide system support for the data centres' relocation of iAM Smart Checking System with minimal impact to the public;
(e) Provide daily production support to iAM Smart Checking System and assist in resolving problems;
(f) Provide support to production systems as well as other production maintenance matters;
(g) Provide round-the-clock on-call technical support; and
(h) Any other duties as may be required.
Requirement Details:
-Criminal record check is required.
-Experience in system support of IT infrastructure supporting mission critical system and management of outsourcing contractors is required.
-Good knowledge in Windows server, UNIX server, VMware and networking is a must.
-The Contract Staff normally work in ImmD HQ at Tseung Kwan O and occasionally provide support at various Immigration offices and other designated locations.
