Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily database maintenance, SQL tuning, and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance.

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of database servers.

  • Support database implementation, backup and restore, data migration, and replication activities.

  • Collaborate with security and system administrators to address security, performance, and stability concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle, MySQL, DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL database administration.

  • Technical knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.

  • Familiarity with database backup and restore solution design.

  • Strong willingness to learn and implement new technologies.

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Junior Database Administrator position.
