Responsibilities:

Report to the Finance Director, you will support in formulating strategic business decisions and development plans to enhance organizational productivity, cost effectiveness, and operational efficiency within designated business functions.

  • Collaborate closely with business partners to evaluate performance analysis, identify business risks, and enhance cost efficiency for key business initiatives.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business plans and management decisions, providing recommendations to optimize cost efficiency and support management decision-making.

  • Analyze key cost elements, including various operating and business models, to drive productivity and optimize cost efficiency.

  • Act as a business partner, fostering strong and collaborative relationships with responsible business functions, offering support and recommendations.

  • Facilitate responsible functions in preparing the annual operating plan (AOP) and rolling forecast submissions, monitoring actual performance against plans and forecasts.

  • Coordinate with responsible functions to develop investment proposals, evaluate costs and benefits, and assess return on investment (ROI).

  • Oversee the Business Case Application (BCA) process with project teams to facilitate management approval and manage project finances throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Monitor the costing system to ensure data accuracy for timely submission of reports to various parties internal and external.

  • Implement CRISP controls with business partners to ensure regulatory compliance, address identified control gaps and effectively manage risks.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance, Economics or related disciplines with professional accounting qualifications such as CPA

  • At least 6 years’ relevant experience in management accounting, financial accounting or cost management, preferably in logistics/ transportation industry or multinational companies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Customer oriented with excellent presentation and communications skills

  • Strong business acumen and able to work independently to meet specific deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Proficient PC skills
