QA manager (Banking / Digital Transformation)

Develop QA strategies, testing frameworks, quality thresholds and release criteria

Establish standardized testing processes: test planning, test scope management, risk assessment, Defect grading, regression strategy, UAT support

Aligns agile delivery to integrate QA activities into refinement/sprint planning

Develop an automated testing roadmap (UI/API/Integration) and drive integration with DevOps/engineering teams into CI/CD.

Establish reusable test assets: test data factory, mocks/stubs, test environment health checks.

Monitor test coverage, pass rate, and accelerate regression time.

Establish a quality dashboard: defect leakage rate, regression cost, SLA, MTTR, post-deployment incidents, coverage, etc.

Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and improvement plans for major incidents/defects, driving process/standard/tool optimization.

Lead/coordinate the QA team, assigning tasks, providing training, and enhancing skills.

Manage supplier delivery quality: acceptance criteria, test reports, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.
Requirements

5+ years of testing experience with 2+ years as Team Lead.

Familiar with Agile delivery and SDLC, able to integrate QA into Scrum ceremonies.

End-to-end test design capabilities: able to break down test scenarios based on customer journey/business process.

Practical experience in automated testing (one or more of the following):

UI: Playwright / Cypress / Selenium

API: Postman / REST Assured / Karate

CI/CD: Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps (or similar)

Familiar with defect management and test management tools: JIRA / Confluence / Xray / TestRail (or similar)

Experience with financial services/banking systems is preferred (understanding permissions, auditing, compliance, data protection, transaction risks, etc.)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to drive implementation across business, product, IT, and vendor teams.
