System Analyst (Java) / System Specialist (Oracle) / Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Liaise with user representative and product management team on business requirements and technical solutions.
Lead and coordinate task force to design and build applications based on cloud-native principles and deployable to cloud platforms.
Participate & effectively contribute to scrum ceremonies with the product owner and scrum team.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, QAs, designers, and partners to contribute to solution design and problem solving.
Research and learn new methodologies & technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Manage application releases and systems upgrade.
Provide user support on application systems.
Provide occasional standby support service for critical situations.

Support Oracle support / implementation projects across Finance, Procurement, and SCM modules.
Provide day-to-day functional support, troubleshooting, configuration and development for Oracle applications.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations / interface / reports etc.
Manage testing cycles including UAT, regression testing, and quarterly release updates.
Liaise with Oracle Support to resolve issues and ensure system stability.

Perform business and user requirement analysis for Banking System related system enhancements
Liaise among users and IT units to ensure business requirements are well defined and properly implemented
Formulate test plans, conduct UAT and regression test
Provide strong support to business users
Manage IT project implementation and monitor the project progress and resolve project problems
Participate in the production support for new product launch

Education: University Degree in Computer Science, AI Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in application design and development
Core Backend: Solid experience in Java and Spring Boot 3.x. Experience migrating legacy systems (EJB/Swing) to modern microservices or serverless architectures is highly valued.
AI Knowledge: Prefer experience with AI Coding Assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and the ability to perform "AI Orchestration"—using AI to generate boilerplate, unit tests, and documentation while maintaining rigorous human oversight.
Infrastructure & DevOps: Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s), Helm, and container runtimes (Docker/Podman) is an asset.
Data Systems: Experience with traditional SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL Database (MongoDB).
Communication: Fluent in English and Putonghua. Ability to explain complex AI-driven architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and pivot as the AI landscape evolves monthly.

Desired Skills and Qualities

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Experiences or Expertise in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion environment
Certifications in any or more than one modules covered in Key Responsibilities from Oracle University is highly preferred.
Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, configuration, and lifecycle testing.
Proven track record in ERP implementation projects (Fusion/EBS).
Strong knowledge in SQL language of Oracle Database is highly preferred.
Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud and BI Publisher is preferred.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Specialist, while candidate with more experience will be considered for a more senior position.

Requirements:

Degree holder or above in Business Studies, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
Familiar with system development life cycle, data flow and UAT process
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, willing to work in competent, challenging and team-work environment
Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, knowledge of the Mandarin is a plus.
