Job Duties
- Answer customer calls, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to network hardware and investigating the root cause of issues.
- Perform system maintenance, including installing updates, upgrades, and patches, and resolving hardware, software, and network performance issues.
- Provide 1st tier technical support for network-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to work with corresponding partners for troubleshooting network problems.
- Document updates on network inventory, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate records.
Qualification
- Higher diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a network engineer
- Preferred certifications for CCNA/HCIA or equivalent. (Optional)
- Familiarity with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
