- Act as the Database team member for management and support of FWD IT Database system, services availability, capacity in 9 to 6 manner, with occasion after-office urgent.
- Carry out database system maintenance including troubleshooting, performance monitoring and tuning.
- Provides investigation, diagnostic testing, and resolution of Database System.
- Perform database server Installation/patching/upgrade.
- Prepare database system performance report according to the guideline.
- Assist on implementation of databases to support business applications.
- Ensure the Database System infrastructure is fulfilling compliance/security requirements
- Assists in conducting DR Drill and BCP process.
- Follow guidelines to execute SQL program for data patching and program deployment.
- At least 3-5 years hands-on experience in database administration with, MS SQL on Azure, Azure SQL MI, Azure SQL database
- Hands-on experience in database installation, backup & recovery, performance monitoring and tuning, database monitoring, data replication and database encryption
- Proficient in database design and problem solving of database problem.
- Able to work independent, self-motivated and willing to take challenges.
- Able to perform judgment and problem solving to avoid data incidents to in/external customers.
- Able to communicate with colleagues and vendors at different levels.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of written English and Chinese.
