Job duties
- Act as a database administrator
- Provide support for Databases (Oracle, MySQL or MongoDB) in day-to-day operation.
- Monitor and maintain database security and database services
- Root cause analysis on production issues and suggest solution to peers and team members
- Install and Setup database cluster
- Ad-hoc support for task and incident handling
- Backup and recovery of data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree holder in related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in MySQL or MongoDB or Oracle database administration and support.
- Experience with NoSQL and RDBMS database architectures
- Ability to evaluate and understand the strengths and weaknesses of different database technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Passion for learning and adapting to emerging database technologies.
