Job duties 

  •    Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure in headquarters and branch offices.
  •    Provide technical support to departmental IT system and services.
  •    Manage patch and firmware updates for server and network equipment.
  •    Manage and support IT projects, including SRAA & PIAA, CMMP, GovHRMS, New_OSDP II, and EDR/NDR, etc. 
  •    Implement security safeguards, manage vendors to apply security measures and update documents.
  •    Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  •    Bachelor Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  •    Experience in network switch and router configuration (e.g. Cisco, H3C, and/or Huawei) is required.
  •    Experience in providing support for Windows AD, and server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware and/or Hyper-V) is required.
  •    Knowledge in IT security principles is required.
  •    Experience with firewalls (e.g. Sonicwall and/or Fortinet) and/or authentication systems (e.g. Sonicwall SMA) is preferred.
  •    Experience with IT infrastructure (e.g. email system and/or SAN storage) and security technologies (e.g. endpoint security solutions) is preferred.
  •    Familiar with government IT policies and guidelines (G3 and S17) is preferred.
  •    Familiar with government IT procurement procedures is preferred.
  •    Experience in computer project life cycle is preferred.
