Network Support/ System Support / System Engineer (Database)

Responsibilities:

Keep databases at peak performance by performing daily maintenance, SQL tuning, and quickly determining and solving database problems.
Play a key role in DB Server installations and configurations, ensuring everything is optimized for performance and security.
Get hands-on with database implementation, backup and restore, data migration, and replication activities—you'll be ensuring smooth data flow across the system.
Collaborate with security and system administrators to resolve security, performance, and stability issues, ensuring high-quality database performance at all times.

Provide exceptional technical support to end users through multiple channels—you're the first line of defense in resolving tech issues!
Troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software to keep everything running like a well-oiled machine.
Assist users with a variety of devices, from computers to mobile devices, ensuring everything is optimized and running smoothly.
Support users with data management and recovery, ensuring their valuable information is always safe and easily accessible.
Address IT concerns for management and VIP users, delivering top-tier service and swift resolutions.
Take on additional tasks as needed—no challenge is too big or small!

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle, MySQL, DynamoDB, or PostgreSQL database administration—your expertise makes you a go-to pro in the field!
Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Linux servers—you’re comfortable in both environments.
Familiarity with database backup and restore solution design, ensuring that data is secure and easily recoverable.
A strong passion for learning and a drive to implement new technologies—you’re always looking to stay ahead of the game!
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with teams across the board.

Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Information Technology or a related field.
2+ years of relevant IT experience preferred —you’ve got hands-on knowledge and experience under your belt!
IT certifications are a plus! Your skills and expertise make a huge difference.
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese—you know how to explain complex tech concepts in a way that’s easy to understand.
