(Senior) System Engineer, DevOps

We are hiring a skilled (Senior) System Engineer for our client's DevOps team. The ideal candidate shall have solid experience in Linux-based system administration and CI/CD pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for system admin and CI/CD pipeline management of a large-scale cloud-native platform.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Terraform.

  • Implement and maintain high-availability solutions and seamless integration with Linux systems.

  • Track system health and performance, and handle other system admin tasks.


System Engineer, Linux Admin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diploma / Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.

  • Familiar with Linux server infrastructures, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc.

  • Proficient in Shell. Bash, Python, or other scripting languages for automation tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant technical experience.

  • Familiar with Linux, RedHat, Docker, Containerization, CI/CD automation and version control tools preferred.

  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.

  • Able to communicate in Chinese and English.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to the Linux infrastructure.

  • Perform routine system maintenance and backups to ensure data integrity and reliability.

  • Implement and manage security tools and policies to safeguard system data against unauthorized access and breaches.

  • Automate tasks through scripting using Bash, Python, or other languages.

  • Collaborate with development teams to support the deployment and operation of new applications.

  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, maintaining a clear audit trail for compliance.
