Business Analyst (Mainly on P&L Calculation and Data Handling)

Around 8 years of business analyst experience with strong focus on Profit and Loss calculation and Data handling, especially with data files from various systems)
Experience in designing, implementing and optimizing P&L calculation, deep understanding of P&L accounting principles and analysis
Processing data files from multiple systems, SQL for data querying, validation and analysis is highly preferred
Investment products knowledge, including equities, bonds, funds, derivatives, structured products
Strong stakeholder management experience across business, IT and senior leadership
Excellent requirement gathering skills with proven track record of translating business needs into functional specifications
Proven track record in UAT coordination and system go-live support, especially on data validation across different systems

Around 5-7 years of business analyst experience with focus on retail banking customer journey design (mainly on profile analysis and proposal generation)
Strong data handling skills, experience with data integration, data quality validation across systems, SQL for data querying, validation and analysis is highly preferred
Excellent requirement gathering skills, able to translate business needs into functional specification and communicate with development teams from the perspective of technical handling
ave experience on conducting or co-host workshops with users for use cases collection and system flow designing
Knowledge of retail banking products, customer experience (UX) and pre-sales flows, especially on customer portfolio analysis
Strong stakeholder management experience across IT, platform owner, business operations, compliance and vendor
Experience with UAT coordination, test case preparation and defect tracking, especially on API related project

Responsibilities:

Work Closely with Front (Front Office) to Back Office (Settlement, Accounting) department stakeholders, ITs and Vendors
Understand SDLC and/or Product life cycle of FX/Precious Metal
Collect and Document user requirements, prepare for UAT test cases and plan
Conduct Data and Issues Analysis and/Or Account Posting Analysis for FX, MM, Precious Metal
Manage and Coordinate projects

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Business Studies, Accounting or Finance
5+Yr IT/Business Analyst experience, preferably in Banking industry
Experiences and good understanding on treasury products, Interest Rate Derivatives is an advantage
Previous experience on Murex preferred ( or like vendor applications such as Markit, Bloomberg ).
Self-motivated, possess analytical-mind and creative / excellent problem solving skill
Excellent communication skill with strong English, Chinese report writing skill
Deadline-sensitive and ability to work independently and under pressure
