Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities:
(T26) To facilitate the infrastructure setup and ongoing support for a major system; To work with multiple vendors for design, proof-of-concept and implementation of security products for a major system; To examine the security measures for system and network infrastructure of a major system according to security regulations and guidelines; To assist in the design and management on the endpoint patching and anti-virus platform setup; To assist in setup and support for a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform; To assist in the design and management for monitoring tools; To assist in Linux setup and administration; To ensure good communication between project teams, vendors stakeholders, end users and other Bureaux/ Departments; To conduct site visits to data centres and branch offices located in HKSAR if necessary; To attend outdoor duties when necessary; and To work irregular hours if necessary.

Requirements:
The candidate should: Have bachelor's degree in information technology from a university in Hong Kong, or equivalent; Have a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification IT experience with at least 4 years' experience in systems/ projects/ companies of similar capacity; Have strong system and security background and have a good sense in the latest security technologies such as Endpoint Detection & Response; Have deep understanding and experience in endpoint security; Have experience to independently set up and support MDM; Have exposure on virtualization technology; Have rich hand-on experience on anti-virus and software delivery solution; Have knowledge on monitoring tools; Have experience on mobile & wireless technology; Be proficient in technical writing; and Have good communication skill with the ability to communicate in both verbal & written English and Chinese including Putonghua and Cantonese.
