Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities:
(T26) The Analyst/ Programmer is responsible for providing the following technical support to 1823 project implementation: (1) To troubleshoot technical issues of network equipment, VMware, servers (Windows / Linux) and disk storage system; (2) To conduct system/ software patching or upgrade; (3) To provide network administration and operational support, e.g. configuration change, firmware upgrade; (4) To monitor healthiness of 1823 systems/ network, and take appropriate actions when receiving system alerts; and (5) To perform project management duties, e.g. quality assurance of vendors' performance.

Requirements:
(1) Minimum 3 years of post-qualification IT experience with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in supporting and troubleshooting in network products (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Juniper); (2) Proficiency in data networking technology including switching and routing protocols; (3) Proficiency in configuring, operating and troubleshooting in various network equipments such as router, switches, firewall; (4) Proficiency in Linux and Linux Shell Script; (5) Professional qualifications/ certificates related to network equipments such as JNCIS-ENT is advantageous; (6) Proficiency in the administration of VMware vCenter; and (7) Knowledge of any following area is an advantage: - VMware NSX - Wireshark - Splunk - SAN Storage (8) To assume duty in 1823 offices in Yau Ma Tei or Cheung Sha Wan subject to operational needs.
