Senior Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) 1. To ensure high availability and stability of network infrastructure for GCIS Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS, aka EGIS) 2. To provide technical advice on administration, operation, upgrade and configuration of GCIS network equipment including network routers and switches, firewalls, remote access servers, etc 3. To provide support for the migration of GCIS to new data centre 4. To perform problem diagnosis and performance tuning on GCIS network equipment 5. To assist project manager in monitoring work performance and conduct quality assurance of project deliverables 6. To carry out other project related duties as designated by project manager

Requirements:
1. Candidate shall possess solid experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure (over 1,000 virtual servers) with dual-active production sites over cross-site router and switch network for hosting e-services 2. Candidate shall possess sound technical experience in supporting firewalls, remote access servers and authentication servers 3. Candidate shall possess sound technical experience in supporting Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems 4. Candidate shall have experience in supporting e-Government Infrastructure Services (EGIS) 5. Candidate shall have experience in supporting application delivery controllers and traffic monitoring and management devices 6. Candidate shall possess practical experience in adopting software defined networking technology using VMware NSX-T 7. Candidate shall possess experience in conducting quality assurance on project deliverables 8. Candidate shall have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills 9. Candidate shall be hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude 10. Candidate shall be a team-player with good communication and interpersonal skills 11. Candidate may be required to work outside normal working hours for ad-hoc trouble shooting 12. Candidate may be required to work in data centres in Sai Kung, Tsuen Wan and Cheung Sha Wan occasionally Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
