Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) 1. To facilitate network setup and changes for ongoing support of e-government services of various government bureau and departments hosted in GCIS 2. To provide technical support and ensure high availability and stability on the network infrastructure 3. To provide technical support for network enhancements 4. To provide technical change control on administration, operation, upgrade and configuration of network equipment including network routers and switches, firewalls, remote access servers, etc 5. To perform problem diagnosis, performance tuning and ad-hoc network troubleshooting on network equipment 6. To perform acceptance testing, monitor work performance and conduct quality assurance of project deliverables 7. To carry out other project related duties as designated by the supervisors Successful candidate will mainly be working in Cyberport and occasionally in data centres in Tsuen Wan, Sai Kung and Cheung Sha Wan

Requirements:
1. Candidate shall possess sound technical experience in supporting Intrusion Detection and Prevention System, firewalls, remote access servers, authentication servers and Virtual LAN/LAN Switching 2. Candidate shall possess sound technical experience in network implementation and nursing 3. Candidate shall have experience in supporting application delivery controllers, and traffic monitoring and management devices 4. Candidate having practical experience in adopting software defined networking technology using VMware NSX-T is an advantage 5. Candidate shall possess experience in conducting quality control on change procedure 6. Candidate shall be hard-working and self-motivate with positive attitude 7. Candidate shall have strong sense of analytical and problem solving skills 8. Candidate shall be a team-player with good communication and interpersonal skill 9. Candidate may be required to work outside normal working hours for ad-hoc trouble shooting 10. Candidate may be required to work in data centres in Sai Kung, Tsuen Wan and Cheung Sha Wan occasionally Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required
