Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) - To provide implementation support to active projects under OPS SYS, e.g. FDAP, etc. - To provide on-going maintenance support to a number of existing HKPF systems, e.g. CICS IV, CRMAP, IRFMS, eIRF, SRE, etc. - To provide technical advice and support in different stages of new projects. - To manage and coordinate with the contractors and related parties in supporting new projects and existing systems. - To perform systems analysis and design, program development, implementation and integration, conduct various kinds of system testing, installation, on-going support of existing systems, and infrastructure design. - To support procurement of hardware, software and services. - To provide on-call support to tackle urgent system and application incidents for the supported systems. - To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
The candidate shall possess the following mandatory technical skills - solid experience in system implementation and maintenance support - solid experience in Java Programming - solid experience in JavaScript Programming - solid experience in JBoss Application Server - solid experience in Linux System Administration - solid experience in Wireless and Mobile application development - solid experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) application development - solid experience in supporting the use of crime analysis system for HKPF or law enforcement units in HKSAR Security vetting by HKPF is required.
