Project Manager

Responsibilities:
(T26) (a) Perform project management for IT system operation, maintenance, and enhancement activities; (b) Lead and manage a team of systems analysts and/or programmers to deliver ongoing maintenance support and system enhancements; (c) Manage implementation services of outsourced contractors; (d) Ensure quality of project deliverables; (e) Provide IT advice on conformance of IT systems to departmental, government IT polices/standards and improvement initiatives; and (f) Any other duties as assigned by supervisors. Normal working hours : (Mon: 09:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri: 09:00 - 17:45)

Requirements:
(a) At least 10 years post-qualification IT application development and maintenance experience with at least 6 years of experience in similar capacity; (b) At least 6 years experience in managing Government projects using SSADM methodologies; Knowledge of PRINCE2 or AGILE would be an advantage ; (c) At least 5 years experience with systems running on GCIS/EGIS Hosting Service; (d) In-depth experience in IT project management and team management; (e) In-depth experience in Java web-based application development and management, system implementation, system maintenance and operation support; (f) Familiar with Government IT standards, office automation infrastructure and services; (g) Able to work in a diversified and dynamic team environment; (h) Good at organising, presentation and writing skills; (i) Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) would be an added advantage; and (j) Work experience in clinical related information systems is an advantage.
