Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) (a) To identify and implement database requirements for new or existing applications; (b) To optimise database performance and efficiency through evaluation, capacity planning, performance tuning and other related activities; (c) To support users and developers by diagnosing and resolving database technical issues; and (d) To support the Infrastructure environment including AIX, Linux and Microsoft, ensuring system availability, reliability and security.
Requirements:
(a) At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in database administration and management; (b) At least 10 years of post-qualification experience in supporting AIX environment; (c) At least 7 years of experience in Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase; (d) At least 5 years of experience in DB2; (e) At least 7 years of experience working with/in the government; (f) At least 7 years of experience in supporting government systems & services and managing government IT standards; and (g) At least 7 years of experience in coordination work with internal and external parties.
