Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities:
(T26) The candidate will be mainly responsible for: (a) managing in-house development with full system development life cycle (SDLC) and documentation; (b) providing on-going support such as troubleshooting and bug fixing for various systems and applications; (c) overseeing website updating and web hosting management; (d) providing technical advices to support business requirements; (e) engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to meet the business objectives; and (f) carrying out other technical and administrative duties as specified by the management.

Requirements:
(a) Candidates should have (i) at least four (4) years of relevant post-qualification full-time IT working experience, of which two (2) years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; (ii) at least two (2) years of full-time hands-on experience in the development life cycle of Java-based systems (with frameworks such as Spring MVC adopted), including feasibility study, system analysis and design, procurement and installation, programming and implementation, system nursing and maintenance; and (iii) at least two (2) years of full-time hands-on experience in application development and/or administration of one or more of the following relation database management systems: Oracle, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server. (b) Candidates should be customer-oriented and able to perform under pressure, willing to work after office hours and occasionally working on an on-call basis as required. (c) Preference will be given to candidates who have experiences in the following technologies/areas: (i) Full stack development (MEAN/ MERN/ LAMP) (ii) RESTful API development (iii) Java/ PHP programming (iv) NoSQL database (v) RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (vi) Containerisation such as podman, containerd, KubeSphere, Knative, etc. (vii) Service mesh/ serverless architecture (viii) Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline Criminal record check on the selected candidate will be required.
