Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) The staff will be assigned to the project team for providing system support and professional IT advice regarding the system infrastructure enhancement of e-Passport-2 and iAM Smart Checking System. Tasks include: (a) To coordinate with related stakeholders to implement the system infrastructure enhancement initiatives for e-Passport-2 and iAM Smart Checking System; (b) To provide technical assessment and recommendations on system infrastructure design; (c) To monitor contractors' work to and provide quality assurance on project deliverables; (d) To perform technical problem diagnosis and consequent resolutions for production systems; (e) To take up round-the-clock on-call duties and provide on-site technical support for system maintenance services; and (f) To perform any other duties as may be required for meeting the department's business needs.

Requirements:
The CSA should possess strong experience in providing technical support on system infrastructure and maintenance of mission critical system. The CSA should be analytical in problem solving, and able to work independently. The CSA will normally work in the Headquarters of Immigration Department at Tseung Kwan O. The CSA will be occasionally required to provide support at various Immigration offices, data centres and other designated locations and work outside office hours. Criminal record check is required.
