Project Manager

Responsibilities:
(T26) (a) Manage system implementation, testing, production rollout, nursing and post implementation of IT projects; (b) Oversee the system development and maintenance, security risk assessment and audit services, and privacy impact assessment exercises; (c) Serve as IT advisor and collaborator to work closely with end users and contractors, and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders during the procurement, system design and development stages; (d) Ensure the quality of all deliverables from the contractors are up to the required standard and comply with relevant government standards and guidelines; (e) Contribute proper IT advices to the project and prepare relevant progress reports and plans; (f) Provide estimates and monitor budgets for all IT activities; (g) Liaise with FPU and Finance Unit on e-payment related issues; (h) Evaluate and recommend appropriate IT products and services for the development and maintenance of IT systems; (i) Coordinate, participate in and assist with ongoing trainings; and (j) Supervise team members on project implementation and maintenance tasks

Requirements:
1. Familiar with government IT standards and methodologies such as PRINCE and System Implementation and Maintenance/ Support, and experience in working with or in the HKSAR government departments/bureaux; 2. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills; 3. Strong problem solving and analytical skill; and 4. Responsible, independent and able to work under pressure.
