Project Manager

Responsibilities:
(T26) Lead and supervise a team of IT specialists in managing the operation and ongoing maintenance of the Department of Health (DH) IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: - Provide expert advice on systems, virtualization, and hyperconverged infrastructure to senior management and project teams. - Automate and streamline IT workflows using modern solutions to improve efficiency. - Oversee the Central IT System Infrastructure, including the operation of computer centers and server rooms. - Manage the central user identity repository and the associated directory services via Microsoft Active Directory (AD). - Lead all phases of infrastructure projects, including procurement, installation, system nursing and on-going maintenance. - Offer technical consultancy for the setup of IT infrastructure at new DH offices, clinics, health centers. - Support annual capacity planning, IT Security Risk Assessment and Audit for DH Central IT systems. - Evaluate and select hardware and software products to ensure robust system development. - Partner with network and internal DH teams to ensure seamless project support. - Monitor subordinates performance and provide technical consultancy on operating systems and system software. - Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Normal working hour: Mon 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri 9:00 - 17:45
Requirements:
- Extensive experience managing enterprise-level local IT infrastructure, including environments with around 10,000 Active Directory (AD) objects. - Provide track records in supporting healthcare-related infrastructure within government frameworks, including patch management, endpoint security management, and data protection management. - At least 5 years of experiences in data centre maintenance and the management of outsouced service providers. - Practical, hands-on experience navigating government procurement processes and regulations. - Proficient in project management, service management, and operation management. - Deep experience in IT operations and Infrastructure design for both Production and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites. - Well-versed in Government Central IT Services, including CCC, GCIS, GNETand CIS. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders. - Strong problem solving and analytical skill.
