Responsibilities:
(T26) The staff is responsible for supervising and providing support for the Enterprise System Management (ESM). Primarily, the staff is responsible for providing support for components of the system, such as various application modules, middleware and custom scripts/programmes, and for troubleshooting, conducting security remediation and resolve any issues that may arise. In addition, the staff shall coordinate with project / system support teams and oversee contractors to ensure the effective delivery of system upgrades, hardware replacements, ongoing operations, maintenance, feature enhancements and integrations with other systems. The staff is required to provide 7x24 on-call support and fault recovery, and may be asked to perform tasks such as regular password change, equipment upgrades, recovery or hardware replacements during public holidays or outside normal office hours. The staff will normally station at C&ED's office in North Point but may occasionally be required to visit some remote C&ED offices scattered across Hong Kong. He/she also needs to perform any tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
Candidates shall be equipped with at least five years of working experience in operating system support, including AIX, HP-UX, Linux (RPM-based) and Windows server, with at least three years in similar post or comparable capacity. Additionally, he/she should have at least five years of working experience in database management, Tivoli monitoring and IT service management software such as Maximo Application suite. Knowledge in managing container orchestration platform, software-defined storage, hypervisor platform, open-source software configuration & provisioning tool, update of webpage layout using CSS and HTML, email communication, and development of custom programs/scripts with Apache Groovy and Microsoft PowerShell / Windows batch is favorable.
