Project Manager

Responsibilities:
(T26) To lead an IT Team (including 1 CSSA and 1 CSA) in supporting all the implementation/support tasks in GLAB, including but not limited to below: - To plan and manage ALL (new/existing) IT projects (currently with around 9 projects) to meet the business objectives and IT developments
i) To assess and estimate the project resource requirements
ii) To monitor project progress, handle project problems/issues, and prepare timely management updates
iii) To ensure all project deliverables are delivered on schedule with quality, and are compliant to the standing policies and guidelines in the Government - To oversee the service delivery, enhancement and maintenance of the existing IT systems, including Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) - To set up new disaster recovery site and new satellite laboratories - To perform other ad hoc IT tasks

Requirements:
The candidate should : - have solid experience in managing multiple IT projects in pipelines which adopt the government's Practice Guide to IT project management - with solid experience in system design and development project - with solid experience in providing services and supports for Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP) - have knowledge of the standing Government policies, guidelines, standards and procedures - have good communication and presentation skills and be able to serve as a liaison with end users, senior management, other government departments and contractors - be able to work under pressure to complete multiple implementation projects under tight schedules
