(T26) Provide IT Infrastructure Support for the Department of Health, maintaining and enhancing existing systems, and assisting with the implementation of new EDR project. Responsibilities include technical support for infrastructure systems, creating and updating technical documentation, and collaborating on projects for government departments.
Responsibilities:
(T26)
1) To provide operation and maintenance support for the central infrastructure systems in Department of Health (DH).
2) To assist automation for Microsoft (MS) Active Directory (AD) operation in DH.
3) To assist implementation for a central Microsoft (MS) Active Directory (AD) management platform in DH and the according support for system backup and maintenance.
4) To assist daily operation and maintenance for central infrastructure systems in DH (e.g. VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI, Huawei FusionCompute, patching, endpoint protection, system monitoring, log analysis ... etc.).
5) To provide infrastructure systems support for IT colleagues in DH premises (e.g. Offices / Clinics /Maternal and Child Health Centres / Clinical Related System ... etc.).
6) To support server rooms operation (e.g. backup tape rotation, environmental checking, contractor escort... etc.).
7) To coordinate Government contractors and to ensure all deliverables complied with the requirements and standards.
8) To handle infrastructure systems request from both technical and non-technical parties.
9) To assist document preparation and proposal evaluation for new IT procurement and maintenance renewal.
10) To assist in maintaining infrastructure inventory and preparation of systems document.
11) To assist in team administration matters and related documentation.
12) Experience in managing storage system.
13) Experience in application deployment on the Windows platform using scripts.
14) Knowledge and experience in system migration would be an advantage.
15) Knowledge and experience in EDR systems would be an advantage.
16) Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisors.
17) May be required to work outside normal office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as and when required. Normal working hour: Mon 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri 9:00 - 17:45
Requirements:
(1) At least three
(3) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least one
(1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. He should be proficient in systems programming or technical support of system software
(2) At least three
(3) years' work experience with/in the Government
(3) Strong knowledge in operating multiple AD Domain Controllers and Windows (Local Administrator Password Solution) LAPS implementation
(4) Experience in AD Domain automation and monitoring
(5) Solid experience in MS PowerShell programming and system log parsing
(6) Hands-on experience in ManageEngine and SolarWinds monitoring
(7) Hands-on experience in ZENworks Patch Management, VMware ESXi, Nutanix HCI and Huawei FusionCompute
(8) Experience in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) operation
(9) Experience in handling IT request from non-technical users/parties
(10) Familiarity with IT procurement and hardware / software maintenance in Government
(11) The proposed staff must have working experience in providing on-site support services to customer
(12) Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
(13) Strong problem solving and analytical skill
(14) Responsible, independent and able to work under pressure
(15) Previous experience in deployment and support of PC related H/W & S/W
