(T26) Provide IT Infrastructure Support for the Department of Health and Centre for Health Protection, maintaining and enhancing existing systems, and assisting with the implementation of new EDR project. Responsibilities include technical support for infrastructure systems, creating and updating technical documentation, and collaborating on projects for government departments.
Responsibilities:
(T26) '1)To take part in all phases of computer projects, procurement and installation of computer systems, implementation, system nursing and maintenance.
2) To analyze, design and specify program components of computer systems.
3) To prepare and conduct system testing and user acceptance.
4) To produce project reports and specifications.
5) To devise system and installation standards.
6) To devise and maintain operation procedures in line with these standards.
7) To monitor and report system usage and to recommend and control the allocation of computer resources.
8) To develop housekeeping jobs for security control, job accounting, system backup and data backup, and media management purposes.
9) To monitor the performance of his subordinates.
10) Proficient in Windows OS administration and security management.
11) Proficient in Active Directory (AD) management and knowledge in the use of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
12) Experience in managing storage system.
13) Experience in application deployment on the Windows platform using scripts.
14) Knowledge and experience in system migration would be an advantage.
15) Knowledge and experience in EDR systems would be an advantage.
16) To perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
17) May be required to work outside office hours including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays as and when required Normal working hour: Mon 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri 9:00 - 17:45
Requirements:
(1) At least four
(4) years' post-qualification information technology experience of which at least two
(2) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity. He should be proficient in systems programming or technical support of system software.

(4) years' work experience with/in the Government
(3) Professional knowledge of IT Operation, Infrastructure Design, System Configurations and trouble shooting for Production and DR sites. Working knowledge and experiences on MS Windows Server, AD, SAN, VM, Nutanix Prism and HCI technolody data centre maintenance and outsouced-vendor management.
(4) The proposed staff must have working experience in providing on-site support services to customer.
(5) Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
(6) Strong problem solving and analytical skill.
(7) Responsible, independent and able to work under pressure.
(8) Previous experience in deployment and support of PC related H/W & S/W.
