Analyst Programmer

Responsibilities:
(T26) A CAP is required to take up the following tasks: (i) Decoding and processing satellite data to generate various application products and images; (ii) Updating HKO Satellite Imagery Service on the Internet; (iii) Enhancing the satellite GIS and Intranet webpages for displaying new and revamped products; and (iv) Assisting configuration of new satellite data processing servers and workstations.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell script programming, Geographic Information System, C++, web programming and object-oriented analysis and design. Experience in Python, JAVA, PHP, TensorFlow and PyTorch will be an advantage. A criminal record check will be required and the offer is subject to the results of the criminal record check.
