(T26) Provision of System Enhancement, IT Maintenance and Technical Support to End Users

Responsibilities:
(T26) - In charge for the on-going system maintenance support to servers of different hardware (including Enterprise grade servers, SAN storages, database and network equipments, etc.) and different operating system platforms (including Windows, Linux, etc.); - Co-ordinate with application teams, users and vendors for proper scheduling of system installation and maintenance works; - Handle procurement exercise of IT equipment and to arrange maintenance renewals; - Supervise subordinates in handling the above tasks and other IT-related tasks and projects; - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor; - The normal working hours (Mon, 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45); and - Occasionally work at irregular hours may be required.

Requirements:
i) Degree holder or above in Computer Sciences / Information Technology or related discipline
ii) Minimum 5 years post-qualification information technology experience in which at least 1 years in a similar post and in a comparable capacity
iii) Solid Experience in configuration & administration of Oracle Database, JBOSS server, Apache, and SAN storage
iv) Experience in configuration & adminstration of Cisco/Huawei network equipment, router, switch & firewall
v) Experience in the Government and familiar with the Government's procurement procedures
vi) Good coordination skills in handling tasks with team members and other parties; and
vii) Excellent spoken and written level in both English and Chinese languages.
