(T26) Provision of IT System and Technical Support to End Users
Responsibilities:
(T26) - Analyze change requests and translate them into implementation-ready specifications for the team for each month; - Perform end-to-end development for assigned functions, including backend and frontend; - Design and implement database changes and data flows for assigned modules; - Implement and maintain API contracts, integrations, and system workflows for the assigned scope; - Conduct user acceptance testing preparation support by explaining requirements/behavior to end-users and assisting testing; - Implement changes based on UAT feedback and monthly review outcomes; - Write technical documentation for delivered scope including functional/technical notes and interface notes; - Participate in progress reviews, task planning for next month; - Ensure delivered functions meet defined acceptance criteria and coding/quality standards; - Maintain & update the system documentations such as user manual; - Collaborate with Analyst Programmers and coordinate module dependencies inside the development team; - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor; - The normal working hours (Mon, 9:00 - 18:00, Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45); and - Occasionally work at irregular hours may be required.
Requirements:
i) Degree holder or above in Computer Sciences / Information Technology or related discipline
ii) Minimum 5 years post-qualification information technology experience in which at least 1 years in a similar post and in a comparable capacity
iii) Strong analytical ability to convert requirements into clear specifications and acceptance criteria
iv) Proficiency in coding and delivery across backend and frontend such as Java Spring Boot and React
v) Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MariaDB including schema design and query optimization basics
vi) Familiarity with Object Storage or other database/storage types is an advantage
vii) Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ability to handle changing requirements in short development iterations
viii) Experience with containerized environments and deployment basics (e.g., OpenShift) is an advantage
ix) Experience with government standards and processes would be advantage
x) Excellent spoken and written level in both English and Chinese languages; and
xi) Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure.
