Job nature:
(T26) This position will actively participate in developing, enhancing and supporting Forensic Pathology Service (FPS)-related systems.

Responsibilities:
(T26)
1. Assist in system design and analysis; perform development and testing for system enhancements/new IT projects
2. Resolve user enquiries, handle ad-hoc requests and provide on-site support on technical issues
3. Maintain and update the system documentation
4. Provide user training
5. Perform application performance tuning
6. Provide support to facilitate the maintenance service renewal and other procurement exercises; and
7. Any other tasks assigned by the Department of Health. Normal working hours: Mon - Fri: 9:00 - 17:48

Requirements:
1. Good knowledge of web-based architectures, deployment scenarios, and Java frameworks
2. Familiar with technologies in Oracle and MS SQL Server is an advantage; and
3. Hands-on experience with Open Source Software (e.g., JBoss, Tomcat & Apache, etc.) is an advantage
