Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
(T26) The appointed staff is required to work in the following areas: 1. Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure in headquarters and branch offices. 2. Provide technical support to departmental IT system and services. 3. Manage patch and firmware updates for server and network equipment. 4. Manage and support IT projects, including SRAA & PIAA, CMMP, New_OSDP II/ New_DPHS, EDR, VM upgrade, and GovHRMS, etc. 5. Implement security safeguards, manage vendors to apply security measures and update documents. 6. Perform tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree / Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 2. Experience in network switch and router configuration (e.g. Cisco, H3C, and/or Huawei) is required. 3. Experience in providing support for Windows AD, and server virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware and/or Hyper-V) is required. 4. Knowledge in IT security principles is required. 5. Experience with firewalls (e.g. Sonicwall and/or Fortinet) and/or authentication systems (e.g. Sonicwall SMA) is preferred. 6. Experience with IT infrastructure (e.g. email system and/or SAN storage) and security technologies (e.g. endpoint security solutions) is preferred. 7. Familiar with government IT policies and guidelines (G3 and S17) is preferred. 8. Familiar with government IT procurement procedures is preferred. 9. Experience in computer project life cycle is preferred. 10. Experience in GCIS-DCI security alert monitoring and handling is preferred. 11. Hands on experience in AI projects is preferred. Other requirements 1. Able to solve technical problems proactively, optimize system administration tasks, keep system documents updated, etc. 2. Required to work in headquarters and other branch offices, when necessary. 3. Self-motivated, independent, diligent, polite, patient, pro-active, fast-learning, good team player 4. Good communication and customer service skill 5. Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese 6. Overtime and on-call support outside office hour are required, when necessary 7. Work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are required, when necessary
