Job nature:
(T26) To provide on-going maintenance support to departmental network and Internet-facing network of Hongkong Post; and to maintain, enhance and upgrade the existing network infrastructure of Hongkong Post.

Responsibilities:
(T26) a) To be in-charge of on-going system maintenance support to all networking hardware and software (including routers, switches, firewalls, internal and external load balancers, Wi-Fi Controller and Access Point, VPN gateway, network monitoring systems and etc); b) To assist applications teams and various support teams in ongoing or project-based network related issue in the areas of feasible study, analysis and design, sizing, procurement, implementation and testing
c) To evaluate and apply firmware updates and software patches for all network related devices and systems
d) To co-ordinate and collaborate with contractors, users, application teams and various support teams for proper scheduling and implementation of network related task; e) To provide first-line and/or second-line technical support for network infrastructure whenever there is problem in network related incident; and f) To supervise staff under his/her charge for the above tasks.

Requirements:
a) Solid knowledge and good technical skill for equipment of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Blue Coat, Hillstone, SolarWinds, Cacti, F5 and etc; b) Hand-on experience in Juniper and PA firewall, F5 LTM, Blue Coat and Hillstone, AWS&;#8217;s IPS proxy configuration and technical support
c) Hand-on experience in Cisco router and switches configuration and technical support
d) Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English, preference given to those good at both; e) Need to work in various location of HKP; f) Overtime and on-call work are required when necessary; and g) Criminal record check is required.
