Job nature:
(T26) IT support to end-users, computer systems and network infrastructure

Responsibilities:
(T26) The appointed staff is required to: a) provide advanced on-site and remote technical support to end users, including senior management; b) diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software and applications issues across Windows and iOS environments
c) support meeting room AV setups for both physical (in-person) and video conferencing, including configuration, testing and troubleshooting
d) set up and install end user devices including PCs, notebooks, mobile phones, tablets, printers and scanners; e) participate in the configuration and installation of operating systems, office automation application, automation tools; f) manage user accounts, permissions and access control in Active Directory and other systems; g) fulfil logging and administrative reporting requirements and assist in preparing statistics and reports; h) monitor stock levels of computer supplies and assist in procurement exercises
i) update and maintain inventory records of computer hardware and perform physical checks; j) document technical procedures, maintain knowledge base articles, and contribute to IT service improvement initiatives; and k) perform IT related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in LAN support; - Experience in supporting PC, notebooks, mobile phones, tablets, printers and scanners; - Experience in Government GOA systems including CMMP, Department Portal and e-Leave is preferable; - Knowledge of Government regulations and procedures, such as IT service management, IT security requirements, procurement, etc. is preferable; and - Holder of related professional qualifications, e.g. MCSA, ITIL is preferable. Other requirements: - Required to work occasionally in remote offices. The locations include Admiralty, Wanchai, North Point, Cheung Sha Wan, Kwun Tong, Kowloon Bay, Yau Ma Tei, etc. - Good communication skill and customer service skill - Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese - Good problem-solving skills, time management and team collaboration - Need to carry pager/mobile phone to provide ad-hoc supports - On-site or remote support outside normal office hours is required when necessary, which will be recompensed by time-off in lieu.
