Requirements:
An Analyst/Programmer should: have at least three
(3) years' post-qualification information technology experience, of which at least one
(1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity; have good knowledge and proficiency in developing AI or machine learning applications with Python, web programming, structured data query tools and relational databases (SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL) amongst others; and in system integration, data engineering, knowledge management, collaborative tools, and various support/development tools/environments. Exposure in AI development orchestration tools (e.g., Dify, n8n, LangChain, LlamaIndex), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, Large Language Model (LLM) APIs, AI agents, data-driven web dashboards and chat interfaces (e.g., Streamlit, Dash); deployment of software applications using docker appliances and Git; or Python data science or deep learning tools/libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTrch, Keras); and knowledge of utilising cloud services provided by Digital Policy Office (DPO) (e.g., Government Clould Infrastructure Services (GCIS) - Diversified Government Cloud(DCI)) will be an advantage; and be able to facilitate effective integration of AI applications with an existing e-learning architecture and troubleshoot applications; keep in view relevant potential issues (including but not limited to data security, ethical/legal/compliance risk, system reliability; vulnerabilities; and performance bottlenecks) and discuss with his/her seniors in good time; enforce data confidentiality protocols when handling restricted process data and information; consistently practise continuous improvement to expand system/applications' capabilities; remain current on strengths and limitations of relevant AI technologies, methodologies, best practices, as well as associated guideline/standards/compliance frameworks.
