Job nature:
(T26) System development, migration, enhancement, testing, on-going maintenance, and support of IT systems and websites

Responsibilities:
(T26) - Communicate directly with system users to collect, understand and analyse user requirements - Conduct IT solution sourcing, studying, testing and proof of concept - Independently execute complex programming and debugging tasks to develop new systems, maintain and enhance existing functionalities, and ensure high performance and reliability across internal and public-facing applications - Prepare and update documentation independently - Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors

Requirements:
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling system support issues and bug fixing - Must have proven experience in system support and bug resolution for web-based applications, with the JAVA and C# programming within .NET development, MySQL database, and macro programming in Microsoft Excel - Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude - Experience in Angular is highly desirable - Experience in Python is highly desirable - Experience in React is highly desirable - Must have work experience with/in the Government - Work experience in the Labour Department is desirable - Interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English - Written test may be required during the interview
