Job nature:
(T26) System revamp project for a public-facing web application and related systems

Responsibilities:
(T26)
1. To conduct system development, testing and deployment on public-facing web application and related systems which is running on both government cloud infrastructure and public cloud platforms
2. To study, compare, design, implement and maintain various cloud technologies and services across different public cloud providers, including but not limited to serverless computing solutions, Content Delivery Network (CDN), object storage, virtual machine, database, web application firewall, etc.
3. To discuss and liaise with various parties on system integration and user acceptance
4. To fine-tune, maintain and check integrity for the system extracting, storing and presenting historical data
5. To keep abreast of latest security guidelines and alerts, analyse impacts, patch the system, recommend and implement security enhancements
6. To study and analyse new technology/methodology and related technical implementation; and
7. To provide both technical and administrative support related to the project after normal office hours for special events, fire-fighting and urgent deployment of services, etc.

Requirements:
1. Have at least 4 years of work experience on Python programming
2. Have at least 2 years of work experience on development of web application with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS
3. Have at least 1 year of work experience on development or support of container-based architectures of K8S standard
4. Experience on Alibaba Cloud and Amazon Web Services is preferred; and
5. Good communication skills, proactive and can work independently.
