(T26) To provide desktop services and help desk support to the Judiciary.

Responsibilities:
(T26) The Judiciary has more than 2600 PCs and servers, on Unix, Linux and MS Windows, spinning over 15 buildings and being accessed by 50 Government departments. In order to provide a quality service to both Judiciary users and other parties, a stable and secure IT network and infrastructure performance are required. The Judiciary has implemented more than 50 information systems and applications to support the daily operations. These information systems cover in-house applications for different court levels, office automation utilities such as e-mail, Internet access, websites as well as government wide information applications (such as e-Leave, e-Payroll, Departmental Portal, etc.). The successful candidate will be required to provide technical support to the Judiciary users in relation to computer hardware on workstations, notebook computers and mobile devices, and software. He / she will assist manager to configure various model of client computer, standardize installation procedure for routine operations. He / she also provides technical advice and directive guidance to team members and service providers on IT equipment deployment, such as PC upgrade project and system migration project, in the Judiciary and a team of technicians.

Requirements:
The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following roles and responsibilities: - provide technical support services to users in the Judiciary including those VIP users - provide technical support services to users of Video Conference System - provide technical support services to mobile device users - prepare documentations including installation / configuration guides and procedures for desktop support team; - verify technical documentation proivded by other teams and vendor. - conduct maintenance updates on the hardware and software; - handle user inquiries, problems investigation and service requests; - work with other technical teams on deployment of new IT services, applications and projects; and - pay attention to the details - able to communicate well with end-users and team mebers - dedicated and committed to problem resolutions. - Supervisory experience is required.
