Job nature:
(T26) To develop and support Geographic Information System (GIS) work supervision systems for CEDD

Responsibilities:
(T26)
(i) To develop and design/redesign GIS work supervision systems (ii) To develop and maintain an in-house developed CAD-based plugin (iii) To perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
Qualification Requirements - A degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification, awarded by a university in Hong Kong or an overseas education institution; or - An accredited associate degree or a higher diploma in Information Technology from a Hong Kong or overseas tertiary education institute. Experience Requirements - Proficient in GIS programming language, such as Python, REST API, Javascript, SQL, .NET C# and C++; - Knowledge in GIS applications and software, such as ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Server is preferable; - Experience in Spatial Database such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS is preferable; and - Working fluently with GeoJSON, Shapefiles, KML and vector tiles is preferable.
