1) Site Preparation for the New Data Centre,
2) Computer Operation Support services.

Responsibilities:
(T26) To facilitate the implementation of the New Data Centre of Housing Authority The candidate will be required to:
i) assist supervisor in reviewing, planning and preparation for implementation of the new Data Centre
ii) coordinate with Contractors, Infrastructure team, Builder Work team and Building Service team on the implementation and commissioning of the new Data Centre
iii) assist in developing and maintaining relevant procedure manuals and documentation
iv) conduct routine site inspection and perform outdoor and field work to support the preparation of new Data Centre
v) work on a rotational 24/7 roster, if needed, with on overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays to ensure uninterrupted data centre operations; and
vi) carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
(a) Experience in coordinating and conducting site preparing works for new Data Centre sites, including cabling, power, cooling, and physical infrastructure setup
(b) Knowledge of electrical systems, network cabling, and building service to support site inspection, measurement requirements and check that contractors ; works comply with approved drawings and requirements
(c) Experience in using relating drawing software tools like AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, etc.
(d) Experience in providing computer operation support, including system monitoring, batch job monitoring, backup operation, incident handling and escalation, or in supporting Data Centre operations and maintenance; and
(e) Experience in PC installation support, MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Visio, Lotus Notes and Chinese Character Input etc. Apart from above, holder of CCNA, MCDST, MCSE and Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate qualification is preferred and site preparation experience will be an advantage.
(f) Able to write in Chinese and English, and communicate in Cantonese and English.
(g) Able to speak fluent Cantonese
