Job nature:
(T26) Lead subordinates to provide on-going technical support to the mission critical application systems

Responsibilities:
(T26)
1. To lead subordinates to provide on-going technical support (including system management, administration, enhancements, maintenance, capacity planning, performance tuning, testing, problem solving and etc.) for mission critical application systems
2. To lead subordinates to support the infrastructure setup of a new external gateway
3. To lead subordinates to setup, configure, test and support various system hardware, software and applications of the systems
4. To lead subordinates to manage various contractors in system setup, support, performance tuning, capacity planning, testing and problem solving
5. To lead subordinates in liaising with other in-house system and application teams on the requirements of system architecture, application design and testing
6. To lead subordinates to provide technical support to application teams on application version control, application deployment, problem solving and performance tuning
7. To lead subordinates in maintaining system documentation and inventory records of application systems; and
8. To assist supervisor in preparing various requirement specifications documents for acquisition of necessary system hardware, software and services for application systems.

Requirements:
1. Have solid hands-on experience in Windows and cloud/Linux platforms which shall include but not limited to system architecture design, installation, setup, administration, configuration, maintenance, testing and technical support
2. Have solid hands-on experience in supporting the following software:
(i) DB2 Server; (ii) MySQL; (iii) Tivoli Workload Scheduler; and (iv) JBoss
3. Have solid experience in leading subordinates to implement and support mission critical application systems; 4 Willing to work in non-office hours including after mid-night and public holidays; 5 Able to work independently; and 6 Willing to carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
